Explanations:
This user CoolRanch3 is a sock of some previously blocked/deleted sockpuppet accounts. The individual using this account has been caught previously using socks in order to cause disruptions and influence vote consensus with the Surrealism article.
Here are the previous userchecks and sockpuppet inquiries associated with this individual:
Here are some recent diffs on the 2 latest sockpuppet accounts, CoolRanch3,Radarst: [1], [2], [3], [4]
In all likelihood, this user is Keith Wigdor, who runs a website http://www.surrealismnow.com Outside of wikipedia, Keith Wigdor has been having an ongoing feud with the Chicago surrealist group, and has taken great pains to remove all references to the CSG within the wikipedia Surrealism article, by way of using various sock accounts. The nature of all his vandalistic edits are always toward this very precise goal, and the recent diffs demonstrate this. TextureSavant 15:30, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- Unnecessary. Radarst has all of two edits, one to a userpage and one to a talk page. Given the content of the edits, it is not sufficent to accuse them of being a sockpuppet. Checkuser is not needed here. --Deskana (talk) 03:05, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
