Digimons is a new user who has suddenly appeared, created a detailed userpage within his or her first few edits, received a Barnstar from Codeplowed, and begun participating in the very heated Talk page of the DeVry University article (in support of Codeplowed's viewpoint). Codeplowed's increasingly aberrant behavior on that article's Talk page is reaching the level of disruption and the use of a sockpuppet to further disrupt the discussions would be very unfortunate and possible actionable in some way. Further, Codeplowed has previously used the word "digimon" to describe other editors with whom he or she has disagreed; I have never seen anyone use this word in such a context before, establishing a further possible link between the two accounts. --ElKevbo 20:23, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- DiogenesRex and 24.90.244.160 have been used for similar activity and have similar editing synergy. Vagary 20:38, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- Concur. This COI SPA has been aggressive and active. I am an uninvolved third-party. I came to the page to help, responding to a report at WQA (link below). I found disruptive activity by user Codeplowed and IP 24.90.244.160, as follows:
-
- removing talk page headers, removing and modifying talk page comments of other editors, re-posting archived POV essays to the current talk page, responding to warnings by spreading warnings and essays on other user's talk pages, and on their user pages.
-
- There is already an extensive history of reports about this and the problem continues unabated:
-
- → Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts#Edit War Brewing on DeVry University
- → Archived (but not resolved) AN/I report: Soapboxing, possible disruption, possible deletion required
- → Archived (but not resolved) AN/I report: Disruptive

-
- When the reports got serious, he started to become "polite" on user pages, while continuing his damaging talk page disruptions.
-
- He revealed the sockpuppet relation when he did a one-two post on my talk page from two accounts as if from one:
-
- The second post was not signed. The style and latin words at the end were so clearly from user Codeplowed, I replied as if to him, then later when adding the unsigned template I discovered it had been posted by the sock account.
-
- Additional evidence: At this diff, it shows that the the barnstar on the user page of the new account User:Digimons states it was awarded by User:Codeplowed but it was actually added by User:Digimons himself when he created the page.
- After all the above reports, supported by a half-dozen good-faith editors who have put in a lot of time trying to solve this, this needs Checkuser verification and administrative help to stop the disruption of the DeVry article talk page. I am not directly involved and make this request as an unbiased observer. Thanks. --Parzival418 Hello 21:58, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

- Clarification. Upon re-reading my comment above, I want to clarify that I do not believe Codeplowed has bad intentions for Wikipedia or that he is a "vandal" or "evil." My intention is only to report what I saw of his actions over a period of one week. I can't tell what's really going on with him - if he knows what he's doing is wrong or if he's just confused. It's not my place to make that judgment. I posted the above information only for the benefit of the checkuser process and to point out that help is needed to calm the disruptive editing at the DeVry talk page. --Parzival418 Hello 01:51, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: I am recusing from this discussion, but it might be useful to note what a Digimon is if it is unknown to some. x42bn6 Talk 22:50, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
