[edit] Blotchun

  • Code letter: A and C

The first five users all made their first-ever edits within 30 minutes of each other today; all were support !votes and endorsing comments at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Ryulong 3. This was clearly an attempt to harass, not to support, the candidate, who is a well-known if controversial vandal fighter. The subsequently listed users also posted to this RfA, and some to at least one other RfA, making increasingly harassing and trolling comments, including claims of affiliation with GNAA and personal attacks. Note in particular the blocking history of User:Blotchun who may be the only one of these accounts not created today. Checkuser is requested to determine whether any registered users are associated with these accounts as well as to block the IP. Comment: User:Hassan2, User:Hydroplainee, and User:IvanQasirr also appear to be SPAs with questionable !votes in currently-open RFAs. While these may be separate incidents that may or may not warrant a checkuser, it could be potentially interesting if any of them show up while looking into the above. --BigDT 18:55, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
RICHARDFOSTER12 (talk · contribs) was created on 13 January. Hydroplainee (talk · contribs), 18 January. IvanQasirr (talk · contribs), 18 January. Blotchun (talk · contribs), 1 January. The rest in that list seem to have been created today. There's also Dryldram (talk · contribs), who participated in the attack on Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/SunStar Net and is a rather curious account. Sarah 21:55, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Clerk note: Refactored page, adding all recent additions from Newyorkbrad and BigDT into the list, at top. Luna Santin 20:00, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
I think I know where they're coming from, at least.—Ryūlóng () 21:02, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
That seems to be so for some of the accounts, but others were just created today, and the 72... IP was indef-blocked two weeks ago, so there must be at least one other IP involved. Newyorkbrad 21:22, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Ryulong, there are also links to User talk:69.61.67.34 and User talk:203.169.146.53. Sarah 21:33, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
I chose that on Blotchun's because it was the most evident on that page. And I've tried to contact Mackensen about the basics of the block on that IP.—Ryūlóng () 21:43, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Confirmed, but not related to the suspected IP. I've blocked several open proxies and sleeper accounts. Mackensen (talk) 14:31, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Clerk note: Blotchun seems to be the main (oldest, most contribs) account. Page moved and updated to reflect this. Daniel.Bryant 15:11, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Further, the sleeper accounts blocked by Mackensen that weren't included on the list are:
