- Code letter:G: Vandalism and Sock puppetry activities to include "Artsmastering" section, including article links, to the audio mastering page.
User Biggy_P is suspected of using Wikipedia to spam and promote a business website (See: [1],[2] and [3]). He has already been associated with sock puppetry activities in the past, using and older account, which is no longer active (Voy7 a/k/a "R.Watts") (See:[4] and [5]}
The apparent main purpose of this Biggy P account is to revert a deleted article that had raised concerns of being just a bias promotion of a business site and particularly, an engineer (See: [6]) It's also entirely possible that he is no longer using the IP address 66.214.253.51. Nevertheless, the accounts that are popping up recently, appeared to be geared up to intimidate (See (ProperManner), give credibility or support (See: SciFrutto) to the inclusion of said article, complete with external link to its business site (See: [7] and reference link). This raises the concern that Biggy P is still trying to use Wikipedia for pure financial gain and self promotion. For more information on the spam article a/k/a "Arstmastering" see [8].
- Comments
Even though he (Biggy P) has made great efforts to create the illusion that the account is valid by contributing on other articles, a quick look at his contribution history suggests that the account is a single purpose one. The other accounts also never appear to be online at the same time and therefore, all his sock puppets should be blocked.
User:ProperManner has been persistently asking me to erase my comments about "Artsmastering" on the audio mastering talk page without even bothering to read and understand the seriousness of the remarks. Also, the fact that "she" has singled me out to post comments on my talk page, has raised a red flag. If she is not Biggy P's sock puppet account, then, I am sorry "she" got hurt in the crossfire.
Iclaudius2 seems to be "Bad hand, Good hand" account created to support ProperManner and create the impression that If I don't remove the comments about the "Artsmastering" article and its engineer, I will be blocked (See:[9]). If Iclaudius2 is not a sock puppet, then he shouldn't be leaving misguiding comments.
User:Mr.Strong, this account (A confirmed sock puppet) summarizes and accentuates Biggy P's frustration to get rid of me and my remarks at the audio mastering talk page (See:[10]). The interest thing about this account, is that another user has also tagged it with sock puppetry, but linked to another editor who was part of the discussions at the "Audio mastering" talk page.
- Conclusions
One single point hints at the possibility that Mike Sorensen and Biggy P are the same person: even though user Biggy P has been an obsessive supporter and has always has been in favor of Mike Sorensen's crusade to include "Artsmastering" at WP, they have never talked to one another, ever (See: [11] and [12]. Clear sign that something is not right at all. Jrod2 22:10, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Confirmed Mike Sorenson matches Proper Manner matches SciFrutto matches BiggyP matches Mr. Strong. Iclaudius2 is unrelated. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 03:54, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
