Given that this user got up to speed very quickly with the moves on 2002 Gujarat violence and is editing from the non-Hindu side of the POV spectrum, I think that it might be the banned BhaiSaab or TerryJ-Ho, who used to be very active there. - Likely, same geographic location and same ISP as BhaiSaab. Dmcdevit·t 07:23, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

- Code letter: Possible B. I suspect based on the biased editing and instant edit warring, that the user might be the sock of the by the ArbCom banned user BhaiSaab. I am not sure about this though, but what I am sure about is that there is strong evidence that a very experienced user is using this account for biased editing and edit warring.
- 1) First edit. Removes anything that a pious Muslim might object to in the Muhammad article (the criticism section/all the images of Muhammad) 2) 4th edit, made just a few hours after the users very first edit on Wikipedia: A revert with the edit summary "rv". 3) 5th edit. Remove warning from talkpage with the edit summary "blanked the page". 4) 6th edit.revert the Muhammad article back to his version 5) 7th edit revert to his version of the Muhammad article using the edit summary "rv to previous version of funnypop12" I believe that this user is clearly editing beyond what should be his experience. As the account is only used in order to make reverts and controversial edits, and it might also be used to violate the 3rr rule. Karl Meier 20:02, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Clerk note: Moved from Case/Funnypop12 to Case/BhaiSaab and corrected the request as such. DarthVader 23:23, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- Additional information needed. I'm not seeing evidence of the connection to BhaiSaab; all the diffs are things that Funnypop12 has done, but nothing shows why these things are related to BhaiSaab. Could you please provide diffs that show the connection between the two? Essjay (Talk) 23:33, 31 December 2006 (UTC) Applicant notified at 05:59, 1 January 2007 (UTC) by Daniel.Bryant [ T · C ].
- I am afraid that such diffs doesn't exist, and that there is not much direct evidence that the user is a sock of BhaiSaab specifically. BhaiSaab is just one of several editors that could be behind this. The issue and the reason I request that checkuser should be used is: 1) The user is clearly editing beyond what should be his experience, and is obviously (as the diffs I have provided makes it obvious) not the new user that he pretend to be. 2) The user is disruptive, making only controversial edits and was edit warring right from the beginning. 3) The editors of the Muhammad article would benefit from knowing who they are talking to, and if it is someone supporting Funnypop12 with reverts (possibly using the sock puppet account gaming 3rr). I other words, I am not sure who the person behind the sock puppet is, so if possible then you tell me and the other editors of the Muhammad article. What I am sure about is that we are dealing with somebody's disruptive sock puppet account, and I believe I have provided diffs and evidence that makes this quite obvious. -- Karl Meier 11:32, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

- I think it's plain wrong that check user can't be used for solving real problems, that has been substantiated with several diffs. -- Karl Meier 16:57, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
