[edit] Asgardian

Relisted Due to potential new violation of restriction.

Asgardian is under editing restrictions as per Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/Asgardian-Tenebrae#Remedies, primary of which is being limited to 1 reversion per 7 day period. Asgardian has already used IP addresses to evade this restriction. Verification is needed to see if this pattern of avoidance is continuing. Hiding T 23:26, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Even if the IP is Asgardian, that is still only one revert in the last 7 days, right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Dmcdevit·t 00:30, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
With no discussion on the article talk page which was part of his restriction. Asgardian is subject to an editing restriction for one year. He is limited to one revert per page per week (excepting obvious vandalism), and is required to discuss any content reversions on the page's talk page. Hiding T 00:40, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Further, Asgardian has made no edits to an article talk page this month, [4]. Hiding T 00:42, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Then what do you need the RFCU for? :-) He already did objectively violate the remedy. The revert came from the account, not the IP, so it's clear. Dmcdevit·t 01:09, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Only one comment, which may or may not be relevant or even important. ;) Unlike the other IPs he edits from (which appear to be 203.46.189.91, 211.29.188.167, 210.185.73.90, and 165.69.252.7, and possibly others), which seem to be solely used to edit comics articles, and are apparently as he claims only used when his login times out, the IP referenced above appears to be a shared IP because there are edits to many non-comics articles. Regardless, all the edits from that and the other IPs to comics articles all seem to match his standard sort of edits and subjects. BOZ (talk) 02:44, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Doh! I was thinking it had to be a revert of his own edit, not any revert. Sorry. Hiding T 14:07, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Clerk assistance required: - this case is now complete. Can we go for archive, please? - Alison 00:47, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Asgardian

Asgardian is under editing restrictions as per Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/Asgardian-Tenebrae#Remedies, primary of which is being limited to 1 reversion per 7 day period. This set of edits is from a 24 hour period. The concern is that the use may have, knowingly or not, edited under the IP to avoid the restrictions. Verification is need to see if this is the start of a pattern of avoidance. J Greb (talk) 15:25, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Note: - accepting per Arbitration evidence and ...

Clerk note: blocked the IP anon for 3 weeks, please contact an admin more familiar with the case. -- lucasbfr talk 21:25, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Relisted Clerk note: I am adding Obsidianblackboard from a separate case. -JodyB talk 23:48, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

As per the cited edit and the edit history for Obsidianblackboard, it looks like that account was created by Asgardian after that editor was block for violating ArbCom issued restrictions. A check user is need to verify that and help determine if additional sanctions are warranted. J Greb (talk) 22:58, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Clerk note: J Greb posted this portion of the request. I merged it with the previous case. -JodyB talk 23:48, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Clerk note: tagged and blocked. I reset Asgardian's block and logged it. -- lucasbfr talk 15:41, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
