I file this checkuser as per the sheer number of sockpuppet accounts (listed below). I strongly believe such continuing disruption will lead to future problems. I am not certain who is the sockpuppet of who since for example Artaxiad has a very confusing edit pattern and yet have confirmed sockpuppets.
The complexity of the case makes gathering evidence difficult and probably inconclusive. The evidence of this many sockpuppets leads me to conclude that there may be others. Any one of the puppet masters may be sockpuppets themselves. A general cleanup is necesary to avoid paranoia and further disruption.
Artaxiad has a Greek, Armenian, and even a Kurdish persona. Lakers, a vandal fighter, was also apparently a sockpuppet of his. These puppets do not seem to edit same articles the same time but Artaxiad's sockpuppets did work with him on a few occasions such as the Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Angusmclellan. Users disruption wasn't restricted to english wikipedia but was even on commons: Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/Blocks & protections#24.34.77.145 and NOPLEASE. He seems to be using sockpuppets quite leisurely.
- These are the confirmed sockpuppets of Artaxiad:
- Vrastic (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- HayasaArmen (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Lakers (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Fakers (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Graeco (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Mr. Barnstar (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Kursarta (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Mexicana (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Russ (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- KURDBIJISTAN (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
In addition, the user said: "one year is too long same thing as a indef, so I see no point in waiting it out so I will do what I have to do".

Comment: I would like to remind the checkuser admins that "checkuser is not for fishing". Also, for the sake of fairness, if the request is accepted, could the following users be checked under the same pretext as above:
- A.Garnet (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Baristarim (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Cool Cat (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Doktor Gonzo (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- User:Bohater had an allegation that I am sock of user:Cool Cat so I offer a check for me also;
- Makalp (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser) and for my old username;
- Mustafa Akalp (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)Must.T C 17:05, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Needless to point out that there is more evidence in the cases of these users. They seem to share the exact same POV on Kurdish issues. Thanks.--Domitius 14:45, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

- I'd support such a check. -- Cat chi? 14:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
-
- Well this is a new low for you Domitius. (If admins want to run a check user on me that's fine) --A.Garnet 21:26, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I will also add that none of the above users to my knowledge have been involved in the Armenia-Azerbaijan dispute, nor have any been accused of disruptive editing. --A.Garnet 22:03, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Whereas Ozgurgerilla, Yannismarou etc (apparently both of them suspected sockpuppets!) were?--Domitius 22:07, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I agree whoever made the nominations above has been overzealous, but bringing me, baris and gonzo into this for no reason whatsoever is unnaceptable and another case of WP:Point on your part. --A.Garnet 22:28, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I will also say that if anyone wants to run any sorts of userchecks on me and compare it with any/all user accounts in Wikipedia, that's fine with me too. Baristarim 04:43, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- A good number of the blocked socks were also not involved with that dispute. One was a hard core vandal fighter and nothing else. -- Cat chi? 10:58, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Comment
- There is an open case for three of users above;Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/Bohater.
Addition Is it possible to add following two (newly created) users in this case;
- Mertbash (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Hah (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)Must.T C 17:31, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

- Sock (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)Must.T C 19:15, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Roj (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- En (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser) - same MO as Hah and Sock, likely Ararat arev. Yeesh. Tony Fox (arf!) 19:29, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Comment This IP 202.28.186.3 (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser) is definitely Artaxiad - he left a note at AN/I where this issue was raised [2]. But moreover, I would like to point out, at least for interesting and funny info, the editing pattern as was shown here [3] - two socks reverting each other! :) It is pretty messy.. - These users Henbacl (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser), Juiney (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser) and are most probably sockpuppets of Artaxiad. Isn't there a way to block this range of IPs? Baristarim 03:15, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- Based on the IPs he has been using I suspect he is also using open proxies and other goodies. It isn't going to be that easy. -- Cat chi? 03:24, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Clerk note:. What the hell is going on here? Mackensen (talk) 15:31, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Declined without prejudice. Please refile the request so that I can follow what's going on, and what you are claiming the sockpuppets are. Artiaxad has been dealt with in another request. Dmcdevit·t 23:33, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
