[edit] Amoruso

Notice that User:Amoruso and User:Robertert edits "dove-tail" quite nicely; they do not edit at the same time. After User:Amoruso has "used up" his 3 reverts on four different articles about Israeli settlements/neighbourhoods of Jerusalem, User:Robertert conveniently appear on the same articles, reverting to User:Amoruso version. Thanks, Thatcher! I have reported it here, Regards, Huldra (talk) 15:39, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
The admins there have said that someone here will follow up on this case. Please note that User:Robertert continues to edit-war at two of the pages in question, even though a checkuser has confirmed that he has used sockpuppets to tag-team edit the pages above. Considering the disruption is ongoing, can someone intervene here? Thanks. Tiamuttalk 09:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

That is not true. No checkuser confirmed that I have used sockpuppets to tag-team edit any pages, or violate any Wikipedia protocol. Thanks for not even notifying me of this. Whatever administrator taking care of this should please email me. --Robertert (talk) 15:31, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Let me clarify my comment further. The checkuser "confirmed" that Robertert uses two other accounts listed above, and further indicated it was "likely" that User:Amoruso was also commandered by the same user. The tag-team editing documented by User:Huldra was effected by Robertert and Amoruso's accounts. The evidence therefore indicates that the charge of sockpuppetry is appropriate. However, as I have little technical knowledge regarding how checkuser works and what alternate explanations there may be for such an outcome, I will defer to admins on this. Dealt with. Blocked all the socks indef and Amoruso, the main account, for two months. Moreschi (talk) (debate) 16:02, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

I was wondering how long the disruption was going to be allowed to go on before someone stepped up. You are an editor both brave and industrious Moreschi. Thanks. Tiamuttalk 17:49, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
A big thank you both to Moreschi and Thatcher for their work. (As for Robertert´claims: well, I was involved when User:Amoruso was blocked the first time for 3RR. He also then had a rather special presentation of the editing history, a presentation which nobody else agreed with.) Regards, Huldra (talk) 03:58, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
