[edit] Afi0956
Afi0956's sole edits have been to create entirely unreferenced and speculative movie sequel pages for I'll Never Forget What You Did Last Summer, Speed 3, Signs 2, and Stir of Echoes, and to add a reference to a Big Momma's House 3 to the Big Momma's House 2 article. 205.155.54.114 similarly has edited the original films' articles to refer to the above-referenced non-existing sequels (Signs 2: [1] and I'll Never Forget What You Did Last Summer: [2], [3], [4], [5]), and to also add reference to a Ring Three [6]. Furthermore, 205.155.54.114 engaged in repeat vandalism to remove the AfD notice for I'll Never Forget What You Did Last Summer (AFD nom, they remove, it's restored, they remove, it's restored, 207.200.116.13 removes, it's restored, 207.200.116.13 removes); 205.155.54.114 then was blocked for 24 hours; upon expiration, 205.155.54.114's third edit was to remove the AfD again [7], resulting in a 48-hour block. I imagine it likely that the user will repeat the behavior. In addition, 205.155.54.114 has removed prod notices from Speed 3 ([8], [9]). (Whether 207.200.116.13 is the same user may be more inconclusive, as it has 779 edits accredited to it, and appears to have disparate editing styles.)
Fan1967 in Signs 2 AfD: "It appears this editor is making up articles in order to put friends' names in. The listed cast members don't seem to exist at all at IMDB."
Additionally, there may be some useful information in the history of the Blair Witch 3 article, which was deleted following an AfD vote. (Someone would thus need to be able to obtain and examine the deleted article's history.) The nominator advised that his AfD notice also kept being blanked.
I highly suspect this user will resume their behavior, quite possibly even shortly after the expiration of the 48-hour block. For future administrators' use, I believe CheckUser data would be useful, so that a block can be applied at the very least to Afi0956 and possibly to the other IP as well. Since these articles are all up for deletion and look to be well on their way towards a 'delete' vote expiring soon, such a determination needs to be made on a time-sensitive basis, prior to these articles' deletion. — Mike • 06:09, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- With regards to the aforementioned time-sensitivity, two of the above-cited articles, I'll Never Forget what You Did Last Summer and Signs 2, will expire tomorrow, the first at 15:53, 11 June 2006 (UTC) — both are currently entirely delete votes, so most likely will disappear. — Mike • 15:50, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

- Clerk note: Deleted pages and their histories remain in the database and may be viewed by administrators, including those with checkuser permission, even after they are "deleted" from the main article space. Thatcher131 18:01, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

- Okay, then it's not time-sensitive, aside from the block expiration. Good. ;-) — Mike • 18:06, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

Confirmed. 205.155.54.114 is Afi0956. 207.200.116.13 is Netscape, b/k/a AOL, and inconclusive. Essjay (Talk • Connect) 18:12, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
