- Code letter: F - community ban of 1B6 is documented at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive217#Cluebat_needed and Wikipedia:Community_sanction_noticeboard/Archive5#Community_ban_of_1B6.
I ran accross User:U.S.A.U.S.A.U.S.A. after he warned an IP I had just blocked and added a curious disclaimer [1]. Now this was a bit out of the ordinary, but certainly an innocuous and helpful gesture. However I then noticed several other curiosities:
- 19:14, 23 November 2006 1B6 New user account [2]
- 22:16, 23 November 2006 U.S.A.U.S.A.U.S.A. New user account [3]
- "I just was trying to avoid falsely claiming to have admin. powers, which I've seen very serious measures taken for people who have done so, which the banned user 1B6 has done." [4]
- This is just plain ironic.
I brought this evidence to the consideration of the admin responsible for enforcing the block of 1B6, who then proceeded to block USAx3 as a sockpuppet. USAx3 appears to have a history of positive contributions and requested a review of this block via e-mail. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 03:53, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
