From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anyone, whether directly involved or not, may add evidence to this page. Please make a header for your evidence and sign your comments with your name.

When placing evidence here, please be considerate of the arbitrators and be concise. Long, rambling, or stream-of-conciousness rants are not helpful.

As such, it is extremely important that you use the prescribed format. Submitted evidence should include a link to the actual page diff; links to the page itself are not sufficient. For example, to cite the edit by Mennonot to the article Anomalous phenomenon adding a link to Hundredth Monkey use this form: [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anomalous_phenomenon&diff=5587219&oldid=5584644] [1].

This page is not for general discussion - for that, see talk page.

Please make a section for your evidence and add evidence only in your own section. Please limit your evidence to a maximum 1000 words and 100 diffs, a much shorter, concise presentation is more likely to be effective. Please focus on the issues raised in the complaint and answer and on diffs which illustrate behavior which relates to the issues.

If you disagree with some evidence you see here, please cite the evidence in your own section and provide counter-evidence, or an explanation of why the evidence is misleading. Do not edit within the evidence section of any other user.

Be aware that the Arbitrators may at times rework this page to try to make it more coherent. If you are a participant in the case or a third party, please don't try to refactor the page, let the Arbitrators do it. If you object to evidence which is inserted by other participants or third parties please cite the evidence and voice your objections within your own section of the page. It is especially important to not remove evidence presented by others. If something is put in the wrong place, please leave it for the arbitrators to move.

The Arbitrators may analyze evidence and other assertions at /Workshop. /Workshop provides for comment by parties and others as well as arbitrators. After arriving at proposed principles, findings of fact or remedies voting by Arbitrators takes place at /Proposed decision. Only Arbitrators may edit /Proposed decision.

[edit] Evidence presented by Woohookitty

[edit] Bucking consensus

My first batch of evidence is going to pertain to Rex071404's continued attempt to buck a consensus on the John Kerry article. The consensus on this part of the article came about over a year ago. This is how it reads:

"During this encounter, Kerry suffered a shrapnel wound in the left arm above the elbow. Later, medical staff removed the shrapnel and applied a bacitracin dressing. The next day, with Kerry's arm bandaged, he returned to regular Swift boat patrol duty."

Mr. Tibbs already documented all of Rex's attempts to change it to read "minor wound" or insisting that applying bacitracin is not a bandage. I'm going to focus on the continued bucking of the consensus. Several votes have been taken to end the debate. The point is that it has prevented any other discussion on the issues.

  • 00:20, 9 November 2005
    • [103] - End of vote to end debate, which Rex071404 clearly lost. And this demonstrates how he tries to muddle votes by basically making up voting categories.
  • 01:24, 9 November 2005
    • [104] - Rex lost the vote unanimously and yet still insisted that a consensus had not been reached. As you can see, a stop sign template was constructed to show Rex that it was time to move on.
  • 00:56, 9 November 2005
    • [105] - Even though it had been barely an hour since consensus was established by the vote (and admin Titoxd had unprotected the article for that reason. See here. [106]), Rex put it up for another vote to determine whether what was just determined as consensus was really consensus!
  • 04:09, 12 November 2005
    • [107] - Yet another vote to end discussion was proposed. Even though he had already lost a previous vote and had been warring with everyone else since (apx. 200 posts between the 2 votes and every one was trying to push his POV despite the consensus), he claimed that the 2nd vote was invalid.
  • 21:36, 13 November 2005
    • [108] - On November 13th, another vote was called. It was the last one that Rex participated in. There was another vote called on the 14th but that's when he attacked me and then went into exile. This time, he labeled the vote as an "invalid final vote" and then made a statement:

"Jtdirl says "Your view on the issue is irrelevant". Indeed, this has been clear for some time. Be advised however, that my editors rights are in full force and I will not agree to waive them on the basis of a vote for stasis."

Again, this is after consensus had been established not once, but twice and was about to be established for a 3rd time.

[edit] Evidence of sockpuppet use

[edit] Rex's odd behavior

This is evidence involving Rex's possible use of sockpuppets. The evidence is circumstantial in that a checkuser showed that it was not definitely Rex, but as I showed in my original statement on this matter, when I was visciously attacked a few days ago, it was while Rex was absent and it was also right after I had revealed his gaming tactics on the Kerry article. The evidence...

  • 22:00, 13 November 2005
    • [[109]] - My post accusing Rex of gaming the system
  • 00:11, 14 November 2005
    • [111] - The appearance of the first sockpuppet, Anonrtgtt
  • 04:02, 14 Movember 2005
    • [113] - The return of Rex. He removed my valid accusations from his talk page.

[edit] The sockpuppets themselves

User:Woohookitty/Vandals is my listing of the vandals. Below will be the contributions per vandal.

After that, the anons were blocked...
