This page lists requests by the Arbitration Committee that it feels need to be enforced by administrators. Administrators are not required to enforce these rulings but they are required not to stop those who do. Only Arbitration Committee members and clerks can add new items to this page. If a block is needed, then the administrator who conducts it should record it on the "log of blocks and bans" on the respective case page. Newer requests at top.

Evidence presented did not disclose a history of problematic editing, in terms of basic content policy, by Jossi, and the Committee commended Jossi's self-imposed restriction to edit only talk pages for Prem Rawat related articles. Due to a history of incivility and personal attacks surrounding articles related to the Prem Rawat movement, the preexisting community enforced one-revert rule on Prem Rawat and related articles that commenced March 4, 2008, has been superceeded by Arbitration Committee enforced article probation. Wikipedia's role with respect to serious off-wiki or "real world" controversies and disputes is to provide encyclopedic coverage of such matters from a neutral point of view where they are notable and sufficiently documented in reliable sources. Neither Wikipedia's mainspace article content, nor its administrative and dispute-resolution procedures culminating in Arbitration, are intended or may be used as a vehicle for off-wiki disputes such as those involving the financial markets or legal or regulatory issues. Actions related to the articles involved, including naked short selling, overstock.com, Patrick M. Byrne, the (now-redirected article) Judd Bagley, and Gary Weiss, have been repeatedly disruptive and have had serious implications both on and off wiki. Any current of future editor making substantial edits to these articles is direct ed:

(A) To edit on these from only a single user account, which shall be the user's sole or main account;
(B) To edit only through a conventional ISP and not through any form of proxy configuration;
(C) To edit in accordance with all Wikipedia policies and to refrain from any form of advocacy concerning any external controversy, dispute, allegation, or proceeding; and
(D) To disclose on the relevant talk pages any circumstances (but not including personal identifying information) that constitute or may reasonably be perceived as constituting a conflict of interest with respect to that page.

Any uninvolved admin may impose reasonable restrictions, after warning, upon involved articles or editors. Knowledgeable and uninvolved editors are urged to review these articles to ensure accuracy, fairness, and adherence to wiki policies. User:Mantanmoreland, under any current or future account, is banned from editing articles related to Gary Weiss, Patrick Byrne, Overstock.com, Naked Short Selling, and other mainspace articles in the area of dispute, broadly construed. He may make suggestions on talk pages, subject to the requirements of remedy 1. User:Mantanmoreland is directed to edit Wikipedia from only a single user account and to advise the Arbitration Committee of any change of username, and to edit only through a conventional ISP and not through any form of proxy configuration.

Further to the relevant findings of fact, Waterboarding and all closely-related pages are subject to article probation (full remedy); editors working on Waterboarding, or closely related pages, may be subject to an editing restriction at the discretion of any uninvolved administrator, whereby any edits by that editor which are judged by an administrator to be uncivil, personal attacks, or assumptions of bad faith, may result in a block. Should any user subject to an editing restriction in this case violate that restriction, that user may be briefly blocked, up to a week in the event of repeated violations. After 5 blocks, the maximum block length shall increase to one year (full enforcement). Before such restrictions are enacted on an editor, he or she must be issued with a warning containing a link to the decision.

Among the principles passed was At wit's end which states that necessary measures must be adopted by the Arbitration Committee in cases where repeated attempts to stop disruptive disputes have failed. There has also been a general restriction to all editors working on topis related to Eastern Europe and a warning to all those who may, in the future, attempt to use Wikipedia as a battleground that they may be banned when the matter is reported to the Committee. In light of continued disputes, remedy 4 adopted in Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Free Republic is amended by adding:

"Additionally, any uninvolved administrator may impose a reasonable editing restriction (for example, 1RR) or page ban upon any editor who repeatedly engages in disruptive or uncivil editing of Free Republic or any closely related page. Prior to imposing such a ban or restriction, a warning should be given on the affected user's talkpage. All bans and restrictions shall be logged at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Free Republic#Log of blocks and bans."
All editors, particularly including single purpose accounts and editors who have or may reasonably be perceived as having a conflict of interest, are strongly urged to edit Free Republic and related articles only in conformity with all Wikipedia policies and with this committee's prior decision. If the enhanced administrator authority provided in this ruling does not improve the situation on this article after 30 days, a request for a more formal Arbitration Committee review may be submitted.

Remedy 1.1 in Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Sathya Sai Baba 2, which provides that "Andries is banned indefinitely from editing Sathya Sai Baba and related articles or their talk pages," has been amended (as a result of a successful motion) by striking out the words "or their talk pages." Thus, Andries is now permitted to edit the talkpages of these articles, but not the articles themselves. In keeping with Yuber (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) RfAr, Yuber is enjoined from being disruptive or engaging in revert wars.

Daniel Pipes is considered by many people to be an authoritative source on middle eastern and Islamic Affairs and is cited in several wikipedia articles with out any controversy. This extlink in question links to article by DP about the use of Nikah as front for sex tourism by wealthy arabs who make temporary marriages to poor muslim girls for money in india and elsewhere. After the marriage is consumated they return back to thier home countries. Yuber has previously engaged in editwars over the inclusion of links to articles by Daniel Pipes. These links were retained by general concensus on many other articles.

In the opinion of ArbCom Member Jayjg [13]:

I also semi-protected the article, and soon after Yuber (talk • contribs) and CltFn (talk • contribs) started editing the article, making exactly the same edits as the IPs. Dear admin, User:Aucaman chronically participates in repeatedly violating the 3rr policy, placing numerous dispute tags on articles, [unstoppable] possible sneaky vandalism, repeated violation of the personal attack policy by referring to multiple users as `racist` and other, going against the over-whelming consensus, refusing to compromise, and single-handedly hijacking this and two more articles. He has been engaged in a systematic campaign of misinformation, maliciously editing/disputing Persian people, pushing his POV, ignoring the majority consensus and authoritative sources, trying to establish new 'facts" based on his own personal assumptions, political beliefs, and racist comments. [29] He also repeatedly engages in racially-motivated personal attacks and possibly vandalizes the Persian people article which has resulted in the protection of page. Seemingly, he has single-handedly disrupted the integrity of the page in question, and perhaps other articles too. Furthermore, he is a chronic 3RR violator, but also violates other wikipedia rules by vandalizing and then removing warnings from his talk-page. User:Onefortyone has made edits in violation of his arbcom ruling at Talk:Elvis Presley#Interesting sources concerning Elvis's alleged bisexuality. The specific policies he is violating are pretty much every point noted at Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/Onefortyone#Findings of fact- He continues to allege that Elvis is Gay without providing concrete, verifiable sources; he arbitrarily cites authors who have written books about Elvis without providing page numbers for verification, and makes claims such as "Elvis's promiscuity masked latent homosexuality". I don't know if he actually thinks these are valid sources or if he is being intentionally disruptive, and I no longer care. He is clearly in violation of his RFA. --DDG 20:36, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

User:Kehrli is displaying unrelenting advocacy and original research. Note particularly his user page which is a diatribe against a notation accepted by IUPAC. His main user page represents original research. He has also been pushing his ideas on the page m/z misconception which has been deleted. Recently he has been pushing his ideas on the mass-to-charge ratio page. This page was at one point pure POV and was nearly identical to his user page. He has learned to be more slick recently with all of the criticism he has recieved, including from mediators. He, however, continues to push his ideas systematically and patiently disrupting the ability of other editors to improve articles. Mediation has failed as he ignores the criticism that shuts him completely down from pushing his ideas.

Recently, as the pltn13.pacbell.net anon using IP address 68.121.151.244 (talk · contribs) (Southwestern Bell Internet Services in the Bay Area; this range is known to be used by Sarfatti) made two edits in the user pages of two users he has threatened before, including this new violation (08:45, 25 August 2006) of WP:NLT.
