Voice your opinion (0/0/0); Scheduled to end 22:12, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Tomcusack (talk · contribs) - I have been with Wikipedia for a fairly long time, and have only been using it for reference, only until a few months ago, where I have taken exception to it, and have created pages, and help edit pages. I would love to become a Moderator, but it would help me, help others on Wikipedia, and help me distribute me knowledge across the internet. Tomcusack 22:12, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Even if my application was considered, I would be delighted. I can promise 100% determination, as I would only be looking for the best of Wikipedia.
[edit] Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Moderation and upkeep.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: Professor Tran Hong Viet, because I put in a huge amount of research for the article, and have put in 100's of phone calls to family and friends of the deceased man who I wrote the article for.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Recently, there was dispute over the Tran Hong Viet case, however, we have been talking amicably over the talk pages, and will make an informed decision over the time, in the best interest of Wikipedia.

[edit] Discussion
- Tom Cusack is a god. He saved my life. He loves cats. He has a beautiful selection of hats that many people may find intresting. He cant handle his vodka but he will do a jig for you to the Dropkick Murphys. Thank you. - I have been unable to demonstrate the existence of this person, so I assume the name to be a pseudonym--And I cannot confirm the validity of the material on his user's page. I do not think the inventors of fictional autobiographies ought to be admins. Given the "support" listed first, I suggest this is not a good-faith self-nom.DGG 22:55, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Likewise i am certain this person is a pseudonym, as he claims to work at Westminster University and they have no records of anyone of this name working there. Although using pseudonyms is not forbidden it is mis-leading and one wonders why this editorhas created such an allaborate one? Additionally he has created some nonsensical and non usefull articles on Vietnamese doctors Eun Whoo Shin and Tran Hong Viet the latter which claims the individual escape from the village he was staying at, and collected same napalm, which was falling on the village, and he put it into his car as fuel. However, unlikely this is, his fans like to be reminded of his genius and how brave he was. which is clearly rubbish and souldn't be in a persons biography, and it also fails to back up any of the individuals biography with references so for all we know it could be complete nonsence. Neutral
- Whether or not he becomes an admin, he should develop a better understanding of copyright issues. The tag that he placed on a newspaper front page at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Image:Daily_mirror.jpg&oldid=126847839 is incorrect. --Eastmain 02:44, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

- I have put a speedy tag on it, and I do not think it can be seen as either accidental or ignorant: claiming the first page of the Daily Mirror to be PD! DGG 07:28, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
