[edit] Woggly
final (16/0/0) ending 22:17 2 Dec 2004
I've been around since March and have about 1500 edits. There are months I've been too busy to participate much, but then I get really involved for a few days and do a lot of work. A couple of things would be slightly easier for me if I were administrator. That's about it. --Woggly 22:17, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- I don't know her edits myself, but I see no reason to oppose, and she seems liked enough. Everyking 15:24, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Questions:
- 1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
- A. I'd probably help with deleting pages after voting is done on VfD, and do some speedy deletes (I've been tagging articles for speedy recently). And I'd help revert vandalism.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A. I'm pretty pleased about using the Meta space to link all Land of Oz articles and all Harry Potter articles. And I'm proud of some of the author and illustrator articles I've created and contributed to, such as Dorothy Canfield Fisher, E. L. Konigsburg, Hayyim Nahman Bialik, and more general work done on Children's literature.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and will deal with it in the future?
- A. I try to steer away from conflict, but being an Israeli, I guess I can't live without some conflict. I was involved in a mini revert war on Peace Now, but I will say in my defense that I tried to negotiate with the anonymous user who insisted on reverting this page over and over again. And the article is better now than it was before I got involved. The user who has caused me most stress is user:IZAK. But I don't think I'm alone in that, and it's never come to more than a heated exchange or two. --Woggly 22:17, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
