[edit] Waltpohl
final (15/2/0) ending 01:34, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Waltpohl has been around since February 2004 and made more than 1500 edits on a variety of topics. In an addition to his editing skills, he is able to get along well with other editors. Someone I consider a solid contributor. Wile E. Heresiarch 01:34, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- I accept the nomination. -- Walt Pohl 06:55, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Oppose
- Needs a bit more time interacting and getting involved with Wikipedia: discussions to learn the ropes. Recent Star Trek episode delete voting leaves me worried he's not clear on inclusion standards. -- Netoholic @ 22:54, 2005 Jan 7 (UTC)
- Agree with Netoholic. Wikipedia is not lacking in admins.Dr Zen 00:31, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Comments
- Waltpohl has 1552 edits, his first at 17:03 on February 28, 2004. He doesn't seem to have much experience outside the article space, and is a millionaire, who owns a mansion and a yacht. —Ben Brockert (42) UE News 01:41, Jan 3, 2005 (UTC)
Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
- A. Whatever needed doing. I would watch sysop todo lists, like speedy delete and administrators' noticeboard.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A. Godel's Incompleteness Theorem is a very confusing topic in mathematics. I revised the page to better explain the main point and major misconceptions; this has seemed to clear up much of the confusion. I also participated in resolving an edit conflict on Tibet.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and will deal with it in the future?
- A. I haven't been any serious edit conflicts; I've always been able to work things out on talk pages.
