Trodaikid1983 (talk · contribs) – I have been an avid Wikipedia contributor since July 2006. Although that may not seem like an adequate amount of time, I have contributed well over 100 hours of work to improving articles and making sure they remain neutral. My ideals are in line with most admininstrators of Wikipedia: To allow users to view an article on any range of subjects in an objective, non-partison way. An encylopedia is meant to be facts. I think the Wikipedia community would benefit from my Journalism and Communications background. I do not get flustered and can communicate my point efficiently without coming across as vindictive. I would love to be of more assistance to the community. Thank you! Trodaikid1983 05:11, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- I accept nomination.
- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog and Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I would be more than willing to help with NPOV disputes, articles lacking sources, Wikification and verification, and finally reversing Vandalism.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: I am most pleased with the amount of contributions I have made on the Denver page. Myself and other users have taken the page from messy and unorganized to a page that is informative, organized, and neutral. I am also pleased with the fact that I can negotiate with other editors to reach common ground (Colorado Amendment 43). I have also been reworking some articles, and have been extremely vigilint in removing false information, tagging as appropriate, etc...
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: There have been very few conflicts over editing, and those that did occur, were dealt with in a mature manner. No other users have caused me stress. If a user does become stressful, for whatever reason, I will simply use my best judgment and the tools I have available to rectify the problem.
