[edit] Tails0600
Ended (0/6/0); Ended 02:05, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
Tails0600 (talk · contribs) - First of all, I'm a teenager--But don't take it the wrong way, I really want to help Wikipedia. I feel like it is important to me, to help with something the community has created, and will help to build and strengthen it. Editing articles is fun, but I feel that being an administrator is more than just games, and popularity, I know it is a lot of responsibility, and I'm ready to take that responsibility, no matter how old I am, I feel I can accomplish anything that is put before me.
I feel, and I hope others feel the same, that I can be trusted with the administrative tools and responsibilities. I keep myself in control, and calm, so if I see something that is not right, or just doesn't seem as if it doesn't belong on Wikipedia, I would surely change it. So, If I earn the status of Administrator or not, I will feel good about myself, because I know I tried, and I will know what I should work on. Tails0600 02:05, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
I accept.Withdraw ASAP. (Note: Don't know what happened, but I didn't nominate myself, someone must've hacked me. Sorry for any misunderstanding.)
- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I feel that an administrator has to perform a lot of duties, because of how large the English Wikipedia is. So, I anticipate, just about anything. Administrators have to edit pages, as well as block them, delete them, ban users, and it all takes a lot of work from very dedicated people.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: All of my contributions so far have dealt with reorganizing an article, or even editing some of the information. I also focus a lot on language, because If I can't understand the article, than most people wouldn't.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes, I have been in a conflict, but it did not cause me stress. I dealt with it as I would a real-life situation, if I didn't win, that's fine, then that would mean I still have a lot to learn. If I won the disagreement, great, and I hope other people will take the knowledge I helped provide, and use it to their advantage.

Oppose
- Oppose sorry but as you have fewer than 100 edits I don't have anywhere near enough evidence to be able to show me you have a thorough understanding of policy that an admin needs. Worse, reviewing your edits its clear that you have misunderstood what vandalism is and is not. Keep going, learn more about policy and come back in a few months and you'll stand a much better chance. Gwernol 02:21, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. It's nice that you want to help Wikipedia but you're clearly not ready for adminship yet. --Deskana (talk) 02:22, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. Captain panda In vino veritas 02:25, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. What you need to work on is understanding Wikipedia - starting perhaps by (re)reading Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship, particularly the section where you can learn that editors with as few edits as you have never had a successful RfA, and that you're therefore wasting both your time and the time of others, here. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 02:37, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose - Your answer to question 1 shows no knowledge of administrative duties.--$UIT 02:40, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Why do you need to be an admin? No clear answer to that for me. Oppose. – Chacor 02:46, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
