[edit] Surplu
Final (0/5/0); Originally scheduled to end 14:40, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Nomination withdrawn
Surplu (talk · contribs) - I've now been a member on Wikipedia for several months, and enjoy making it a better place. By this, I mean improving grammatical errors, and improving spelling on articles. I'm on Wikipedia almost everyday when I can, even when I'm attending college. I love writing, I even loved it when I was attending school, there's something about it which makes me happier as a person. No doubt I will be an active user on Wikipedia for years to come. [edit] Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I intend to take part in pretty much everything I can in the future, but first of all, starting small, I would use the ability to check if an article is being watched or not, and then add unwatched municipality articles on video games to my watchlist. I find vandals this way frequently - when I do find vandals I revert, warn or report them to Administrator intervention against vandalism (AIV)
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: In honest truth, my best, and probably the most contributions to Wikipedia are minor grammatical changes. I do this because it makes the articles look more professional and make it look much tidier. I have recently added categories on the new, soon to be released video game GTA IV. Obviously due to the reason I love anything to do with games. In the future most of my edits will be on video games, but I'll still contribute to other articles.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A:I have never been involved in any conflicts on Wikipedia. Nobody has ever vandalised my user page, or edits I've made, and thus this hasn't caused me any stress. However, if any users in the future happen to cause me any stress, I will act appropriately by warning them, or report them if needs be.

[edit] Discussion
- After reading your intro - you are a WikiGnome (or were), not an admin. That, and the inexperience thing. The forecast says a blizzard is approaching. Dlae

- Oppose per too much inexperience. Of the user's 106 edits, 70 of them are to his own user page. No evidence of need for the tools. Metros (talk) 15:16, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose - No evidence of need for tools. Needs more experience. — Rudget speak.work 16:50, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- I think we should pass. User needs much more experiance and a wider variety of work here. -JodyB talk 17:20, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
