SimpsonsFan08 (talk · contribs) - I haven't been in this account for a long time (but have had Lots of IP Editing and Other Accounts but not sockpuppets). I spend, literally, hours on Wikipedia. I know the blocks, deletions etc. policies. I may not have as many edits as other admins, but I really want to make a difference. I spend a lot of time on the help desk and the help me category. I personally have my own wiki, so know a lot about the MediaWiki, and if I don't know, I will find out for any user!
Plus, I have editied every namespace: article, talk, WP, portal, user. SimpsonsFan08 (talk) 20:49, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I will do a (extremely) lot of new user help and monitoring the help desk. I will help avoid Vandilism (as this has happened to me). I will also do more in the New Page Patrol. +Anything anyone needs me to do (as long as this is ok)
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I haven't been in any major conflicts. The only conflicts are small edit conflicts, when I tried to answer questions quickly on the help desk.
[edit] Optional question from Pundit
- 4. can you elaborate on that: I haven't been in this account for a long time (but have had Lots of IP Editing and Other Accounts but not sockpuppets). Why don't you log in? Why do you use other accounts? Pundit|utter 21:00, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- A: Yes, When I didn't know a lot about Wikipedia, I just used my IP. Since coming to Wikipedia in 2003/2004, i've had another account (not a sockpuppet). Before anyone asks, I forgot which account this was, and that was one of the reasons I created this new account. I, honestly, have had more than 1000 edits, just not on this account. SimpsonsFan08 talk 21:15, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- What was the IP you used for editing before using accounts, if I may ask? Also, you could look for articles that you believe you edited with your old account and look through the history to find the account that you used, if that helps. Gary King (talk) 21:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- There has been many IP's. I use several computers, and just got a new one. Plus I use other public computers. I came to WP in about 2003, so in 5 years, I have forgotten. Hope this Helps. SimpsonsFan08 talk 21:20, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

- Oppose, < 1000 edits and first edit on this account was 3 March 2008. Please try again in a few months. Nakon 21:01, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- There isn't any minimum edit requirement and I have done a lot of IP editing. I've been on Wikipedia since 2004/2005, just not on this account. SimpsonsFan08 talk 21:11, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose per spamming link to this RfA in their signature. Nick (talk) 21:12, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose Newbie, under 100 edits to project space. Almost per WP:SNOW. Gary King (talk) 21:18, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose with Moral Support- Truly, you seem to have perfectly good intentions at heart, and while I'm not doubting your IP edits,There's simply no way to check your IP edits without your adress. Even so, ~1000 edits isn't quite enough experience in the Wikipedia community for an administrator. Come back in a while, with a bit more community involvement, and I'll support. Perfect Proposal Speak Out! 21:23, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose with Moral Support like Perfect Proposal. Pundit|utter 21:31, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Uh no, not yet. I think you still have gain a fair bit of experience before you can be given the tools, so Oppose. X Marx The Spot (talk) 21:40, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
