Nduell (talk · contribs) – YOUR DESCRIPTION OF THE USER Nduell 04:38, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: I accept - NDuell
I am going to close this RfA due to the lack of experience of the candidate. Detailed reasons will be supplied on the candidate's Talk page. (aeropagitica) 00:23, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog and Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I believe Wikipedia is a place for detailed and, if we can help it, truthful information to be sucessfully exchanged. My main goal as a system administrator would be to deal with the users that destroy credible information, and aid the users that provide Wikipedia with the information it thrives on.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: I have worked on several articles before becoming a user. While a user, however, I plan to compile a list of the national surveillance organizations and how they interact to make resolutions. A guide to how Congress really works is a project I see in the future. I will emphasize work in government articles, as that is my profession.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you believe other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I have had users alter my entries, and it does not sit well with me unless I see that the user is trying to help. This online project is designed to be a collective effort, so the more the merrier. However, vandals must know that they cannot log-on and destroy valuable information that is the purest asset to this website. In the future, I hope to find ways to show newcomers the wonders of Wikipedia for the right purposes, not for the wrong ones.

- Oppose. Sorry, you don't yet have enough experience (it appears you have only worked on a single article). I'd encourage you to re-apply in the future once you've gotten more experience.--Caliga10 23:40, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. 26 edits as of now is not nearly enough for an RfA. I suggest withdrawal for now, getting more experience, and trying again in at least 3-4 months. –Llama mansign here 23:43, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Sorry, but you don't have any experiance at all. Only 26 edits, no interaction with other users and not even a User Page...sorry come back back when you've been here for awhile.Ganfon 23:49, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose You have only 26 edits, which is just a tiny fraction of what most editors will expect from an admin. While there is no set figure, most editors require at least 1,000 edits - some require 3,000 - evenly spread over mainspace and namespace. I earnestly suggest that you withdraw from this RfA, which has no chance of succeeding, and come back after you have gained three or four months of varied experience.--Anthony.bradbury 23:54, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Suggest Withdrawal Come back once you have more experience with Wikipedia and more edits. Tennis DyNamiTe (sign here) 00:02, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Neutral
- I never oppose in situations like these. You see, this RFA will soon be closed, because you are too new to wikipedia. spend at least a year and 1,000 edits, then you could try again.--Ac1983fan 00:04, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Neutral: Come back with more experience and edits. SD31415 (SIGN HERE) 00:15, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
