[edit] NHRHS2010
Final (1/1/0); Ended 01:50, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
NHRHS2010 (talk · contribs) - I really enjoy making constructive edits and revert vandalism, but I would like to have additional features (such as blocking a user and protecting a page). I am also a nice person who easily gives barnstars so I will definitely give anyone who supports me to be an admin, a barnstar. NHRHS2010 Talk 01:13, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I enjoy making good edits and I often deal with vandalism. When I become an admin, I would like to even block users, protect pages, delete nonsense pages, etc.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I would say that my best contributions to Wikipedia are that I have started articles about New Jersey Transit stations, such as this one. I say that this is my best contribution because many train station articles were missing so since I know a lot about the train stations so therefore I created them.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I have been in several edit conflicts before and this has gave me stress. Luckily, these days, I haven't been in edit conflicts much. Many users (especially administrators) are nice to me, but I have gotten stress by someone who vandalized my user and talk page and even a few good editors gave me stress before, but at the same time, I have learned many things about Wikipedia and as the time goes by, I am becoming a more legimate editor.

[edit] Discussion
- I have to agree that your approximately two months of editing are not enough to satisfy most people's standards for adminship. Less significant, I'm afraid that the comment about awarding a barnstar to everyone who supports you, while obviously well-intentioned and meant humorously, is going to rub some people the wrong way. I have to agree with Greeves that you should probably withdraw this RfA for now and come back at a later time when you have more experience. However, I should also add that I have seen you on various pages around the project, and we value your participation and contributions. Newyorkbrad 01:36, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Support
- Moral support -
I'm afraid you've been a Wikipedian for less than a month while most admins have been on for over 6 months.I recommend that you get adopted by an experienced contributer as your adopter could help you work your way towards adminship. Greeves (talk • contribs • reviews) 01:28, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
-
- LOL! You've been on for two months! Why would I possibly think that it was one month after I looked at your earliest contribs! I think that in the future you will be good material for adminship and I am amazed that you got 3000 edits in two months (even if 116 were to your user page)! I recommend that you also try exploring other areas of Wikipedia outside of vandalism patrol; a good admin is experienced in all areas of Wikipedia. And like I said before, I highly recommend the WP:ADOPT program. Greeves (talk • contribs • reviews) 01:42, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Oppose
- Oppose. Casting this under opposed merely because I don't think moral support belongs under the support header. It's good to see someone dive into vandal fighting with such earnest after being with the project for so brief a time, but I don't think you're ready yet. Seek adoption, increase your use of summaries, familiarize yourself with policy, and come back with a little more time to settle in. With all that said, if you chose not to withdraw your nomination early, you should accept it immediately. GoodnightmushTalk 01:43, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
