[edit] ImpalerBugz

Vote here (0/4/0) ending 4:07, 12 May 2005

I have edited quite a bunch of articles and created a few articles concerning my country Singapore. Although I am just a newcomer, I have contributed many. I am trying out this Adminship post and please take my request seriously. Thanks! --ImpalerBugz 08:11, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

Candidate please indicate acceptance of the nomination here

Oppose

  1. Sorry, but 109 edits is nowhere near enough. Please review the requirements for adminship. r3m0t talk 09:36, May 5, 2005 (UTC)
Also, please learn to follow instructions carefully. What is that "Candidate please indicate acceptance of the nomination here" line doing above? Why did you make your cleanup desk unlike all others? Follow others' examples. (I know, I know, there aren't really proper instructions for cleanup desks. Soon...) r3m0t talk 09:40, May 5, 2005 (UTC)
  2. Oppose too I'm afraid. 100 or so edits is nowhere near enough edits to properly judge a candidate for adminship. Try again when you have a little more experience. Rje 11:04, May 5, 2005 (UTC)
  3. Not enough edits. Also, I have concerns that this user may have just had an RFA rejected (see comments). Carbonite | Talk 11:53, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
  4. Not nearly enough experience. Also, this RFA is not properly formatted (the "vote here" link goes to the RFA subpage for "UserName"), demonstrating a lack of attention to detail. Come back when you have quite a bit more experience. Kelly Martin 12:31, May 5, 2005 (UTC)
  5. Very low edit count, and the fact that this user created List of people who changed the world greatly, (which was VfDed once, re-created and is now being VfDed again) does not show the strong knowledge of Wikipedia standards requisite in an admin. Keep at it and try again someday... not next week, though, please. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 13:04, May 5, 2005 (UTC)

  • I think it's quite likely that this candidate is User:BugzPal, whose RFA (closed 5 May 2005) was unsuccessful due to extremely low edit count. Carbonite | Talk 11:48, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
A Hmmm, I would try to welcome newcomers to Wikipedia, try to locate vandalisers to the site and contribution more on Wikipedia articles about Singapore.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A I am very pleased with three articles I created: NUS High School, Mayflower Primary School which is situated in Singapore, and one about a List of people who changed the world greatly.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and will deal with it in the future?
A Well, being a newcomer, I have not really had conflicts but after creating the List of people who changed the world greatly, I had some people who voted it for deletion. Although one article of mine was voted for deletion, I did not feel angry inside as they praised me for creating that article.
