Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Hodiedodie

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am Hodie Dodie and I have dominated myself for Adminship. I am aware that I have not put deep enough roots into Wikipedia yet but I believe that I can greatly contribute to Wikipedia as an administrator. I learned almost all of the policies on Wikipedia. I also would like to be honest by telling you that when I first created my user page I broke a few rules but I quickly learned how to both obey and uphold them. I mainly wish to become an administrator so that I may further my abilities to fight vandalism of pages. I also believe that I would be able to make sound judgment when going through list of candidates for deletion or blocking. Sincerely, --Hodie Dodie 22:50, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

A: I intend to work on fighting vandalism. Also after becomin an administrator I will do my best I addressing items in Category:Administrative backlog. Ever since I have first created my account I have enjoyed being able to lend my services in fighting vandalism. If/When you look at my contributions you will see that in the begging of my account I kept having an article of mine deleted. After this I feverishly became obsessed with learning all about the policy on vandalism and spam. Recently I have been learning about how different user and even some administrators getting blocked as well as their ips. When/If I become administrator I intend on fighting vandalism users according to Wikipedia policy as well as going through and accurately judging candidates for deletion.
2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
A: I would have to say that my best contribution to Wikipedia would be my article Coram Deo Academy. I also have been spending allot of time patrolling recent changes and undoing vandalism.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A: I have been apart of one conflict but it was when my page was first created. The conflict was over the article Hodie Dodie. As soon as somebody explained to me that it was not there personal dislike of the article that was motivating him to delete my article but instead a list of criteria I began to read into Wikipedia policy on Criteria for Deletion and from there I went on to learn A great deal more about Wikipedia.
