[edit] Grevenko Sereth
Final: (0/8/0) ended 05:42, 20 May 2006 (UTC) Grevenko Sereth was at first (February/March 2006) a repeat vandal and received several warnings and quite lengthy blocks from administrators. However, he has has since learned his lesson and has contributed to several articles, including, Naruto and all related subpages, the merging of Adam Malkovich with Metroid Fusion, added a picture to Masashi Kishimoto, created a page for Seishi Kishimoto and several other edits. He believes he has learned through his past mistakes to be a responsible user of Wikipedia and that with adminship he could prove his worth. - Grevenko Sereth - 1:34, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Oppose
- Strong oppose, this comment [1] telling off users who remind him to sign his posts is rather uncivil. Also, less than 500 edits and almost none to the Wikipedia namesace leaves me no room to gauge your understanding of our policies. Lastly, dismal usage of edit summaries (and please don't overuse exclamation marks and other punctuation if you do). Please edit more to address these objections, and come back again in 4-5 months. - Twice-edit-conflicted Kimchi beat me to it oppose. I'm all for reformed vandals helping the encyclopedia, but there needs to be more of a history that convinces the rest of us. RadioKirk talk to me 04:28, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Strong Oppose - I question your need for the tools. NSLE (T+C) at 05:02 UTC (2006-05-20)

- Strong Oppose per above.—G.He 05:05, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose- I've got no problem with reformed vandals getting the admin tools, but I just don't think Grevenko Sereth has the experience yet. Ask again in a couple of months. Reyk YO! 05:25, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- "Sorry" Oppose. I'm sorry that your first RfA has to turn out like this, but I find that you have too little of a contribution history, and being an older vandal compounds this issue, as does the self-nomination. Please re-apply after about another 2000 edits, spread across the Project (Wikipedia), Article, Talk, and user talk space. Please also consider getting into vandal fighting. Thanks for applying for this position, WerdnaTc@bCmLt 05:34, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Strong Oppose. Maybe in six months. Naconkantari 05:34, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I would anticipate helping by completing tasks in the backlog that nobody else gets around to doing.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: I am particularly pleased with my contributions to the Naruto page and all of its subpages, it seemed that every one of those pages had a redirect on it, which I removed and fixed.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: In the past, there have been many editing conflicts. I edited several talk pages and was labelled as a 'vandal'. I received warnings on my user talk page from admins and received several blocks, the longest of which were 36 hours and 1 week respectively. This stressed me out, but I reluctantly left Wikipedia for a while, then came back and starting making useful edits. In the future, I will try to only make edits such as merging pages, copy editing, etc.
