[edit] EdwinCasadoBaez
Final (0/6/2); ended 13:14, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
I have withdrawn this RfA application as the editor has a total of 391 edits, a general lack of experience in all major areas of Wikipedia. Detailed notes will be left on their Talk page. (aeropagitica) 13:16, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
EdwinCasadoBaez (talk · contribs) – YOUR DESCRIPTION OF THE USER EdwinCasadoBaez 08:39, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
Extras Written By EdwinCasadoBaez. This May Be Weird Or wrong Because User:EdwinCasadoBaez is being nominated by himself but i may have my reasons. I´ve been a wikipedia user for a reasonable amount of time and all i could say is that i love it. In wikipedia I Learn And i make others learn. I Have Read More Than 500 articles in the encyclopedia and i have edited more than 200 times and started more 25 articles. I love being and editor and a reader of wikipedia but I Still want more. Today i want to have the ability to get more previledges and rights to even further help make wikipedia a better site. I want to help other administrators and at the same time become a better user. I accept that i have made mistakes but i´ve tried to fix it the best way i can.
Wikipedia for me has been a great experience and it has helped me the same way I have help it. Becoming an Administrator Would Be A Next Step for me in my wikipedia career as you can call it.
- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog and Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: If i become an administrator i would try to help at the categories involving images with unknown sources and wikipedia articles needing factual verification. I believe those are the spots i will be more efficient because i have had the most experienced on them. As A user too i have made mistakes of posting images without sources but now i have learned througthout the efforts and today i want to teach the other users of wikipedia. I want to keep my editing job too and not keep away from the basics either. I Love editing and i would not stop either but i think i could handle more jobs and responsibility. Everyday am working towards that.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A:The topics of articles i had added in wikipedia are those that involve nations like the Dominican Republic. I`ve done a lot of jobs that have pleased me and made me proud of being a wikipedian especially editing the santo domingo and the communications in the Dominican Republic. Since i am from The Dominican Republic most of my works are related to the country. I have found that they country´s profile needed a lot of help so i decided to help edit and expand the profile. Some Articles that have made me happy had been the article The Human Abstract because i completely made it by myself. I realized that article was missing and that it needed to be made so i did it.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A:Honestly i havent had any conflict with any users but i´d have had stress with users because i have started topics before and they dont give me the chance to continue them because they delete them. I´m not going to say that their is no way i am ever going to have a conflict becuause it could happen but i would always try to play it safe and not argue. I will try to do my best and discuss the misconceptions with users in the future.

Oppose
- You've been here less than two months, have only a couple hundred edits and have shown no experience with process. I suggest you withdraw, read up on WP:GRFA and come back later when you're more versed in how Wikipedia works. >Radiant< 09:24, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose per Radiant, inexperience, and the answer to Q1 shows a lack of what admins are meant to do. Suggest withdrawal. Sorry, Daniel.Bryant [ T · C ] 09:31, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Automatic Oppose - too new, only 391 edits at time of posting (I expect at least 1500). Fails quite a number of my criteria. But feel free to come back later when you have more experience. Insanephantom (my Editor Review) 09:49, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose, lack of edits per my standards, lacks of experience, needs more time to improve. Answer to questions are rather weak and I suggest withdrawal. Also, this user has not written a description on why is he self-nominating himself for RFA. Terence Ong 10:32, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose While edit-count is not everything, a very low count such as yours does indicate lack of experience in Wikipedia; an admin needs to be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of Wiki policy and to demonstrate this familiarity through their contributions. I seriously suggest that you withdraw before you get a hurtful string of oppose !votes, and re-apply in a few months.--Anthony.bradbury 12:03, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Neutral
- Neutral As per my post at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Foundby, I'm only not !voting Oppose in the hope it will help you listen. This will not be pleasant and it will damage your chances in any future RfA. Please withdraw until you have at least six months experience here. --Dweller 12:24, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Neutral sorry, but this nomination will soon be pulled by a b'crat. Try getting at least 1,000 edits, than you can try again. My own request was withdrawn when it became clear that I was not going to become an admin with <1,000 edits. sorry.--Ac1983fan 12:56, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
