Darkest Hour (talk · contribs) - I have about 1200 edits mainspace and 3400 edits total. I have had expericence in fighting vandals, marking pages for attention, helping other users and working out problems. Darkest Hour 22:07, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Administrative backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I would delete pages that have been marked for deletion for a long while. I would also patrol a special page listing little to not watched pages for vandalism.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: Yes, it was this. I created it from scratch reading up on how to get the coding right. And it works like a charm, marking orphaned articles as orphans.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

Support
- Support per criteria set out on my talkpage.Edivorce 19:22, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Support Wikipedia needs more vandalfighters to help with the extra tools.--Wikipedier (talk • contribs) 23:09, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- You don't really need the mop to fight vandals. All you need is a quick link to AIV and RPP and popups or VS. bibliomaniac15 05:14, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Oppose
- Oppose not overwhelmed by the answers and also you state you'll be closing out AFD's but I don't see any experience in that area. Also, patrolling pages for vandalism doesn't require the tools. The Rambling Man 16:28, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose - I think you need more experience. I don't see many reports to AIV, and if you are tagging pages as speedy, it doesn't look like you are notifying the creators. You seem active with helping new users which is good, but not really in anything that needs admin tools. —dgiestc 16:29, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. I am sorry but you have not met the requirements, for me. You're not ready for these powers yet, so I have to oppose you in this position. Continue to do as you already are, and I think that you may be ready in, about, 1.6 thousand edits. -- Zazzer 16:31, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Weak answers to questions and lack of experience is another thing, good edit summary usage though but I'd suggest increasing your mainspace edits a little and gaining about another 3-4 months experience.Tellyaddict 17:02, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Should be closed per WP:SNOW.K. Scott Bailey 18:28, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Sorry, but neither your answers nor your involvement to date in WP:NAME generate enough confidence as to your ability to safely handle the tools at this time.--Anthony.bradbury 18:36, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. Michael 18:56, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose - well your contributions are really good but your answers above aint that pleasing i.e you neeed a bit more time on Wikipedia to get aquainted with the rules..--Cometstyles 22:43, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Need better nom and answers. Captain panda In vino veritas 23:11, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose To be blunt, you need more experience in almost all parts of Wikipedia. Your answers also could use a little work (we're very picky). However, later, I think you could become a worthy nomination. Gutworth 00:43, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Neutral
- Moral neutral. Not a snowball's chance in hell this is going to succeed, so why pile up oppose? —KNcyu38 (talk • contribs) 16:43, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Neutral needs more experience and participation in project-space. - Anas Talk? 17:40, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Neutral - regretfully, I shall have to refrain from supporting this request for the extra buttons. However, rather than oppose, I'd like to offer my humble advice to the editor: (1) get in some deletion debate participation; (2) quit editing your user space (with particular emphasis your monobook.js) and get back onto the article editing that is visible at the start of your last five hundred contrib's; (3) have a look at WP:RCP, and try to get in a few vandalism reverts a day. There is some great tools available, such as VandalProof or Lupin's Tool. Stick in there, and don't give up quite yet! / anthonycfc [talk] 21:09, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Moral neutral: You have so few reports to WP:AIV. Real96 22:43, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
