[edit] Chazz88

Final (0/4/0) ended 22:35 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Chazz88 (talk · contribs) – I have been a registered user of Wikipedia since September 2005 although I was editing anomonously for some months before that. Nevertheless since regfistereing I feel I have been on a steep learning curve about the Wikipedia Community. I like to do janitortial tasks as well as welcoming new users. However, I am proud to take part in article writing as well as starting a few myself. I am further looking into the possibility of helping an article get to featured article status. I also regularly take part in RFAs and AFDs. This details my main activities although their are others. If anyone wants an exhaustive list just ask me. - Responses to Chazz's talk page. Oppose

  1. Oppose needs more experince in my opinion only 300 edits to article space and not much with edit summarries, try again in 2 months --Jaranda wat's sup 20:19, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
  2. Oppose needs more experience and more edits, although edits aren't everything. Try again after you get some more experience. Best of luck for next time. --Dustimagic *\o/* (talk/contribs) *\o/* 20:29, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
  3. Weak Oppose, needs more experience and (admittedly) I would prefer to see more edits to article space, but I like your answer to the first question. Try running in 3 months or so, and I'll gladly support. -Zero|Talk 20:40, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
  4. Oppose Please withdraw before the pileon begins... Olorin28 21:24, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
A. Well I anticipate working on the AFDs and Speedy Deletes. However, I would also work with enforcing ArbCom decisions and also, if neccesary, helping to remedy any edit wars and/or vandalism with the new admin tools available. However, I would try to mediate before protecting a page and use warnings prior to banning users. --- Responses to Chazz's talk page. Signed by Chazz @ 19:59, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. I am particularly keen on the Roger Bushell article. The main reason for this was representative: felt Roger Bushell was an extremely important addition to the Allied War Effort in the 1940s and was more than deserving of an article. The article has a long way to go still: just like many articles on Wikipedia. However, I hope that one day it will be Featured Article material. --- Responses to Chazz's talk page. I am also quite pleased with my contributions to the UK Wikipedians' Notice Board "collaboration/project/group" and in particular starting the Isaac Shoenberg and TK Maxx articles. --- Responses to Chazz's talk page. Signed by Chazz @ 19:59, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A. I have been in "conflicts" before but never been caused stress. However, when I say conflicts I really mean occasions where I have disagreed with others. Everything was civil and it was usually just a misunderstanding. --- Responses to Chazz's talk page. Signed by Chazz @ 19:59, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
They were quite easy to deal with and usually just involved explaining what your were doing and your rationale for doing so and trying to understand what the other party was doing. Sometimes I was wrong sometimes I was right; however, in the end I have always been able to agree with the person that I originally disagreed with. --- Responses to Chazz's talk page. Considering the succesful resolution of these "conflicts" I wouldn't imagine there would be any need to deal with these incidents differently in the future. --- Responses to Chazz's talk page. Signed by Chazz @ 19:59, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
