[edit] Charitwo
Final (talk page) (0/4/1); Ended 04:25, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Charitwo (talk · contribs) - I wouldn't know how to describe myself. User:Charitwo/Sig 02:15, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
I accept. --User:Charitwo/Sig 02:26, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Although I expect strong opposition due to the sheer lack of edits, I have a lot of wiki experience at another wiki. Although it probably will not be applicable to this RfA, you may refererence some 15,000 odd contributions at FFXIclopedia. --User:Charitwo/Sig 02:26, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I am mostly concered with removing vandalism, I previously made a similar RfA, but I appeared to have missed a step and now wish to try again correctly. I feel sysop status will further aid in my strides against vandalism.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I don't have any solid contributions, only efforts to assist in removing vandalism.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: None that I'm aware of, at least not intentionally. A user once warned me before for vandalism, but it was a mistake on his part, I was actually helping him out by trying to revert an article which was being vandalized in a very vicious and repetive manner. For reference, please see User_talk:Charitwo/Archive1.

Oppose
- Oppose- He says that he is very active in fighting vandalism, but I really don't see much edit experience, or fighting vandalism. He has 76 edits, 27 being mainspace. At this time, it is a no. When looking at his Wikipedia page, it really does not look like he is very active with fellow Wikipedian peers. I'm sorry at this time. Politics rule 02:35, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose as per above. Also, the only justification cited for access to the tools does not require them. NeoFreak 03:02, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose and speedy close. The candidate him/herself knows s/he will be opposed based on lack of edits, so why even bother? Less than 100 total edits, nothing in the WP space aside from his/her own RfAs and sandbox edits, a number of talk edits (aside from welcome messages) that I can count on one hand... how could anyone possibly know if this user knows WP policy and can properly interact with the community while making difficult decisions? Sure, a ton of edits on a wiki based on a single video game is nice, but that tells me nothing about Charitwo as a Wikipedia user, and that's who administrators are. I certainly encourage Charitwo to continue editing, but I'd also (as politely as I can) ask the user to withdraw his/her request, as there is no conceivable way of its passing. Oh, and in addition, the user's answers to the questions are quite weak, and don't even show a need for tools. -- Kicking222 03:06, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose This is an example of WP:SNOW. The applicant needs lots more experience. Orangemarlin 04:18, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Neutral
- I'm sorry, you just haven't got enough experience to be judged on your admin abilities. I suggest withdraw this, I won't oppose because it'll be a pile on. If you wish to vandal fight, install the Anti-vandal tool and go and find vandals! Spend a few months here, make a few thousand edits, and you'll be a great candidate one of these days. If you aren't sure how to withdraw this, you could ask a 'crat, or ask at WT:RFA. Good luck! Giggy UCP 03:47, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
