[edit] Scary
I'd like to see a large template that warns people that the article has images or other thngs that may frighten people, this could go on articles like Harlequin Type Ichtyosis, which has as scary image of a person on it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.165.46.77 (talk • contribs)
- Since Wikipedia is not censored I am not sure if this would gain support. A template you might use is, {{Warning}}, which should be used as follows:
{{Warning|Insert your text here}}
. Before placing that at the top of the page you might use the discussion page to see how other users feel about using that.--SomeStranger(t) 20:34, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Inappropriate Content Templates
Wikipedia is not censored, but it would be ideal to warn readers with templates that say things such as:
"This article contains profane language, and might not be appropriate for readers under the age of 18."
and:
"This article contains explicit images, and might not be appropriate for readers under the age of 18."
The templates could be red, to be more noticable. --Gray Porpoise 18:33, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- I am not sure if something like this already exists. If nothing does then I need an image suggestion (the image to place in the template). Thanks.--SomeStranger(t|c) 22:48, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- Here are images I made. They are far from professional, but if the templates will be made, you may edit the images to your liking:
Image:Profanitywarning.JPG (for profanity) Image:Imagewarning.JPG (for images; the odd box is supposed to represent pixellation)
