[edit] Revert template
Could a template be made for when you revert some edits? Maybe something like this:
{{reverted|12.34.56.78|Wikiuser}}
which would generate the text:
"reverted edits by 12.34.56.78 to last version by Wikiuser"
The template could have an extra optional argument for providing a reason for the revert.
I have a feeling this template might not be possible with the current version of MediaWiki. Are templates even allowed in edit summaries? --ColdFeet 08:23, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
- I second this request. Though you'd need to make it mandatory to use it as a "subst:", otherwise you'd probably bog down the server pretty badly. --Miketwo 02:13, 19 November 2005 (UTC)

- Templates do not work in edit summaries. However, features like this can be gained from user scripts. --CBDunkerson 20:39, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
