  • Does anyone have Monet's "Water lilies"/"Les nymphéas" in a good resolution? I need to have it printed asap. Hi, and thanks for reading.
I am desperately looking for a high-resolution picture of Monet's "Water lilies"/"Les nymphéas" to have it printed asap. This is the image I have and they told me it would be pixeled if printed. The canvas size will be 30 x 40 cm (11.7 x 15.6 inches). Here's the one I'm looking for, which is the file I actually have right now: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2uxv4go&s=2 (it's 1024 x 768 but it seems the resolution is not the best)I really can't find it anywhere.Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Greetings from Argentina. Mel. (Please contact by email at obocha[at]gmail.com) Thanks again!

[edit] Sculptures

  • Kinetic sculpture - specifically, I'd like to see some pictures of esoteric, custom human powered vehicles. Twinxor t 03:32, 2 August 2005 (UTC)
  • Emeryville Mudflat art: Need pictures of the Emeryville Mudflat art (no longer existent). These will be old - 1960, 70, 80, early 90's. (This request is intentionally duplicated below in Place in North America.)
  • Shaun Greenhalgh, the forger. He was an eclectic fellow, and did many things including sculptures. You can see links to my wishlist in the articles' gallery or list of known forgeries. I hope not only to get photos of the forgeries themselves, but also, for comparison, what he worked from. In particular, the Amarna Princess. His version was based in part on the Louvre princess and the Penn Museum princess. Other items that went on public display include the Risley Park Lanx (ok, not a sculpture) and The Faun (not by Gauguin). Cheers Aukker (talk) 22:13, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
  • Any photographs of stone sculptures, bronze statues, terracotta figurines, cult objects or even epigraphic inscriptions relating to Gallo-Roman religion would fill a big gap. In particular, we're missing images for Lenus Mars, Intarabus, Aveta, Mercury Visucius, Mercury Cissonius, Sirona, Aerecura, Apollo Grannus... the list goes on and on. The Landesmuseum Trier will be a goldmine for this kind of stuff when it reopens at the end of this month... Other regional museums (such as at Köln, Lyon, Vienne) and not least the Louvre will also have heaps of good material. Q·L·1968 17:38, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

  • I'd like Beinecke Library photographs of Gertrude Stein's salon at 27 Rue de Fleurus, that focus on the artwork on her wall, primarily by Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso, and Renoir .. and not sure if photos of these artworks would raise a problem with the copyright owners of the artwork. for Gertrude Stein Page

  • A picture for Alice would be good if anyone can find one. Possibly IMDb Pro users could email the producers and ask very nicely for one, I don't know.. But if anyone can help, please do! --Chaosfeary 22:40, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
  • There are missing illustrations in the Timeline of CGI in films. We need captures from a number of films that pioneered various uses of CGI. The captures should actually depict the CGI examples. See the article for descriptions of what is needed for each film. The list: Backdraft, The Flintstones, Waterworld, Conceiving Ada, Waking Life.
  • For the Monty Python article, an image from Terry Gilliam's animation Beware of the Elephants, which originally appeared on the television show Do Not Adjust Your Set. If you know where the animation or an image from it is available, please provide the source (such as a special Python DVD or a book). --brian0918 talk 16:40, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • For the List of YuYu Hakusho episodes article, if anyone might happen to have access to the DVDs or similar resource, a screenshot from each episode of the second and any later seasons. Magu2k
  • Grandview, U.S.A., film
  • Screenshots for every episode of Quantum Leap. Seasons 1 & 2 are all ready out on DVD and season 3 will be coming out on June 21. I realize this is a big request. • Is this actually possible? The Bart Simpson image on the t-shirt would be copywright, therefore no chance of a 'free license', right? Fakelvis 12:20, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
      • It is technically possible, if the holders of the Simpsons copyright issue such an image under a free license. Shouldn't be hard to find who to ask. (SEWilco 04:20, 16 July 2007 (UTC))

  • Self-parody In my opinion, an artist's parody of his or her own work would be better than a self-portrait in caricature style. JerryFriedman 21:49, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
    • I couldnt really find a good example of an artist parodying their own work exactly, so instead I added an image of Duchamp's Fountain, a parody by an artist of art itself. I hope it's found appropriate.--Pharos 01:34, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
      • [Fountain] was never meant to be a parody or art (read the wikipedia page on it). This does not meet the definition of parody, much less self-parody.
        • I enjoyed seeing the picture there, but maybe it's time for something that's more exactly relevant. —JerryFriedman 18:28, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
    • Okay, according to this book, John Tenniel's illustration for "The Lay of St. Odille" in The Ingoldsby Legends parodies his mural of St. Cecilia in the Palace of Westminster. I found St. Cecilia on eBay. Does anyone have the St. Odille illustration? —JerryFriedman 06:23, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Squadron Supreme - Needs an image, preferably the Alex Ross cover for the graphic novel that reprinted the mini-series.
    • All of the aboev are going to be copyrighted. You might as well just take something off of the internet, it will all be the same (poor) copyright status. --Fastfission 18:16, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
