[edit] HARD CANDY
Well, I figured that just because the didn't receive an album credit, that it doesn't mean they don't deserve. I wasn't trying to cause any trouble, and I know I wasn't disrupting any info. When someone feels that something should be added, then it is their right to add it, and it doesn't mean that the person making the edit is disrupting it. I didn't mean any harm or trouble. [edit] Re: 10 reviews only per WP album?
Thank you for pointing this out to me, I have taken care of it. DiverseMentality (talk) 17:41, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Got that too, thanks. DiverseMentality (talk) 02:22, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello. Could you tell me where I can find this rule? Also, deleting the reviews after the first ten is probably not the best way of doing it as some of those reviews would carry more weight than the ones that were left (for example, I'd consider Guardian and Times reviews as having more weight than the "All Music Guide" in the case of Tangled Up). ~~ [Jam][talk] 21:24, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] re: Madonna albums
Well I know who you mean and I believe that the editor adheres to this part of the guideline:
- Particularly for hip hop albums, it is helpful to list which members of a group (or guests) rap on which verses as well as mentioning sampling sources. This can be done in a nested list, as in the example above. Using a table is recommended in more complicated situations (see Before These Crowded Streets for example). If a table is used, it should be formatted using class="wikitable", using column headings "#", "Title" and "Length" for the track number, the track title and the track length, respectively.
Personally I dont think wikitables are needed for Madonna albums, especially her older albums. If anything is to be decided I think a discussion on Talk Pages is needed first. - eo (talk) 02:12, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well there is no "higher authority" - as editors we all need to come to a consensus (be sure to read that page). Just keep a level head and suggest to him (her?) that a discussion needs to take place. I would say that since the conversation has already started at Hard Candy it should continue there. In my opinion I could potentially see the wikitable being used for the new album, but she is not an artist who has ever had a plethora of guest rappers, etc., so its really not necessary for the older releases. I'll keep an eye on things as well. - eo (talk) 02:19, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding reversions[1] made on March 27, 2008 to American Life
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not love) 17:38, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

- Could you explain why Beautiful World (album) and Beautiful World: Tour Souvenir Edition should be merged? I don't see why the merge needs to take place. They appear to be articles on two different albums. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not love) 17:41, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, done. I just moved the contents of Beautiful World: Tour Souvenir Edition to Beautiful World (album). Nishkid64 (Make articles, not love) 23:09, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] feedback
I think we could put the article up for GA soon. Realist2 (talk) 03:19, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
The purpose of wiki is to get articles up to a certain standard. Articles can be awarded grades if they are of a high quality be it GA (GOOD article) or FA (fantastic articl). There are only a few thousand of each on wiki. If we make it good we can nominate it for GA and then a reviewer will look at it and decide. Realist2 (talk) 03:37, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
It needs further expanding yet, the music video part could do with bulking up. Get more sourced and i think its worth a shot. Realist2 (talk) 03:41, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Janet Jackson songs formats
Regarding succession boxes, Classicrockfan42 (talk · contribs) had been placing them after the references section in album articles, so I thought they should be placed there, but after I came across several single articles containing succession boxes after chart tables, I realised I could be wrong. However, I still don't know which of them is correct. Funk Junkie (talk) 17:01, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
- Irreplaceable and Hey Ya! were also featured articles, and they contain succession boxes after references. Funk Junkie (talk) 17:22, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll place them before references. Funk Junkie (talk) 17:37, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, you might want to take a look at this. Funk Junkie (talk) 16:32, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- As far as I'm concerned, "British" is the adjective for "UK" just like "European" is for "Europe", "Australian" is for "Australia" and so on, so what's wrong with it? As you can see in the United Kingdom article, British is its demonym. Funk Junkie (talk) 21:28, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] E=MC²
Did you ever see this site: Love. Angel. Music. Baby.. I think we can keep the tables. Reidlos (talk) 11:21, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- The songs on this album have a lot of (co-)writers and producers. With this listing format no one knows who helped writing/producing the songs. That's also the reason why the featured article Love. Angel. Music. Baby. has a table instead of the listing.Reidlos (talk) 10:55, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Beautiful World
It looks like it's just been fixed. The text didn't disappear. If you click "show" next to "Professional Reviews" in the infobox, you would get the entire article. Of course, we don't the page to be formatted like that. :P Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 19:58, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know what exactly seems to be the problem with the template now. It looks like that the infobox cannot handle two "misc" fields. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 20:10, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
