[edit] Announcing my COI but Still Have an Opinion

My name is Doug Hubbard and I authored the article on Applied Information Economics Since I invented that method, I now only contribute to the discussion page. Likewise, I have a COI in regards to a change in this article.

I had previously posted a reference to Applied Information Economics in this article as one method for prioritizing software requirements. The person who removed it said it was new or not well-known enough. I think the deletion discussion for the AIE article refutes that, but I will leave that to someone else to decide.

But since this article now only discusses a single method, Analytic Hierarchy Process, it seems like its really an article about AHP or, at least, the use of AHP to prioritize requirements. If the article is really about multiple methods where AHP is only one solution, then it should have other solutions. Otherwise, the article should be renamed or the more detailed description of AHP could just be moved to the AHP pageHubbardaie 03:35, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
