Redirecting this page to the "ask" disambiguation page yields an odd result; most of the results shown are surprising (amplitude-shift keying, Norse mythology, "Ask Jeeves", a song). I think this would work better if sent directly to "question" (the remaining alternative), but am not sure this is altogether expected either. Jim 04:10, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

• a request is not necessarily a question either, it can also be a demand. For now i will redirect to question because the ask article is not only a bad stub it does not make sense at all.
