[edit] License tagging for Image:Shipititez.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Shipititez.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot 04:08, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your contribution to Horrorcore

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is invited to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, and we appreciate your contribution. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Horrorcore, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. As the hidden note on that list, visible during editing, indicates, artists added to the list must have "references to support their labeling as horrorcore. Unreferenced entries will be removed". Feel free to return the group to the list with a reference to a magazine or newspaper article or another secondary source that confirms their placement. Please note that self-published materials, like band websites or blogs, are not useful for this purpose. Thank you. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:41, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shipititez

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Shipititez, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. tomasz. 17:06, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Shipititez sonar.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Shipititez Sonar.jpg. The copy called Image:Shipititez Sonar.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 20:00, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Zodiac 707.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Zodiac 707.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Notability of Yankem and the jobbers

A tag has been placed on Yankem and the jobbers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. tomasz. 11:24, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Shipititezpromo.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Shipititezpromo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
