From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've been a contributor since August 2005. I've been registered user Repliedthemockturtle since May 2006.

  • I've written most of the content for several articles listed below.
  • I try to add well-researched content with good references.
  • I enjoy doing historical research to settle controversies (e.g. Mickey Finn, How Conely Island got its name, Copasetic) instead of just adding another opinion.
  • I also like to add new pages that should exist but don't.
  • I spend a good deal of time fighting vandalism.
  • I like to reorganize and improve content rather than just bitch about it and put up templates.
  • I try to avoid being a wikinazi; I don't mercilessly edit/delete the content of others, even if I don't exactly agree.
  • I think it's better to have more information on wikipedia than less (as long as it's accruate). So-called "trivia" is ok with me as long as it is organized well and written well. I also don't have a problem with "link farms" if the links are useful, appropriate and organized well. Let the user decide what content is too much or too little.

Updated DYK query On October 10, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Eigendecomposition (matrix), which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. Thanks for your contributions! For the utterly unreasonable amount of work you put into creating Eigendecomposition (matrix). I don't know how we got by without this article before, or how you found the time to do all this. Well done. James pic 09:36, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
