Template:Replaceable 2

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Image:{}

Thanks for uploading :Image:{}. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used in accordance with our policy for non-free content, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add , without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the non-free image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Template usage notes
  • Most test(n) templates take a single optional parameter: the name of the page to which the template applies. If provided, this page will be cited in the warning.
  • test5 optionally takes two parameters:
    1. The first is the duration of the block (with "temporarily blocked" as the default if a specific period is not provided).
    2. The second is the name of the page to which the template applies. If provided, this page will be cited in the warning.
  • Please refer to the index of test templates before using any template on user talk pages to warn a user. Applying the best template available for your purpose may help reduce confusion from the message you are sending.
  • Please remember to substitute the template—use rather than Replaceable 2.
