"Its borders changed rapidly before eventual defeat. Most of today's Connacht was under its realm at its height." It had no borders, and a republic is the opposite of a realm. The republic was proclaimed but had no reality.Red Hurley (talk) 22:44, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
