Republican Conference of the United States House of Representatives

The House Republican Conference is an organization for Republicans in the United States House of Representatives. It hosts meetings and is the primary forum for communicating the party's message to members.
The conference has a chairman who directs day-to-day operations and who is assisted by an elected vice-chairman and a secretary.
In the 110th Congress, the chair is Adam Putnam of Florida, Vice Chair is Kay Granger of Texas, Secretary is John Carter of Texas, and its Executive Director is Karen Haas, former Clerk of the House of Representatives.
Former chairs include John B. Anderson, Richard B. Cheney, Jack Kemp, J. C. Watts, Jr., and Deborah D. Pryce.
