Category:Replaceable fair use images

These images are used under fair use, but fail our first fair use criteria in that they can be replaced with free-licensed images which could reasonably be found or created. Such images should be speedy deleted, per speedy deletion criterion #7 for images or media, if no one has made a convincing argument for why a free licensed replacement can not be created within a week of the image being flagged as replaceable.

To tag an image that fails the first fair use criteria, use

{{subst:rfu}}

or

{{subst:rfu2}} (for images uploaded after 13 July 2006, uploader must be notified immediately)

which will put the image in Category:Replaceable fair use to be decided after 17 June 2008. (If the category doesn't exist yet, please create it.)

When tagging a problem image, consider notifying the uploader. You can add

{{subst:replaceable|ImageName.jpg}} --~~~~

or

{{subst:replaceable 2|ImageName.jpg}} --~~~~

to the uploader's talk page.
