[edit] Origins
Welcome to Wikipedia. Note that we need citations for any non-obvious facts. As Origins is not a well known bad, very few facts beyond their existance, and perhaps membership and albums released are obvious. For example, "They are generally considered alternative rock, with psychedelic, progressive and hardcore influences. They are known for their use of distorted noise and intensely improvised jams." Who generally consideres them that? Who knows them for their distorted noise and improvised jams. Absent such citations for third parties, such claims can be deleted by any editor at any time. (You can usually include claims by the group themselves, so long as it's phrased properly and includes a citation. "Origins describes their style as alternative rock, with psychedelic, progressive and hardcore influences.") Furthermore I recommend seeking out third party coverage of the band (especially in the form of articles about them; possibly reviews). Absent any reliable sources, some of the editors who err on the side of exclusion move to delete the article, believing the group to not be notable. Third party coverage from a few reliable sources will pretty much ensure that the Origins article survives, as well as providing some useful facts to exand the article with. — Alan De Smet | Talk 22:21, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
In Image:GENESISALBUM.jpg you said, "Brandon Hardy, created myself". I conclude that you're the same Brandon Hardy in Origins and Brandon Hardy. If so, your enthusiam is appreciated, but editing articles about yourself is frowned upon. Your actions are going to be viewed with suspicion and likely advertising. Furthermore, I see you've created articles for the individual Origins albums and members. Frankly, those articles are highly likely to be deleted unless you can provide several reliable sources about the individuals or albums. Finally, the Origins article still needs citations! Non-obvious facts without citations can be deleted pretty much at any time. — Alan De Smet | Talk 01:31, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
