The facade of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, in Late Gothic style, was built 1876-1887 to a design by Emilio de Fabris. It is not relevant in this article.

The most Italian like style of the Renaissance outside of Italy is the Polish Renaissance. As a Polish architect, I can't agree with this but maybe somebody had any good reason to write it? Shaqspeare 14:34, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
I agree with Shaqspeare, I think that the importance given by the annoymous editor to Poland in Rennaisance is over-estimated. The fact is that one of the two the images exhibited as examples of Rennaisance is not properly Renacentist. I don't find any classical characteristic in this house: It has characteristic gothic arches, gothic ornamentation, and no classical order, not even symmetry. It is not addecuate to be an example of Rennaisance, even more if Santa Maria del Fiore has been expurgated. I add some examples of Rennaisance. As nobody has answered Shaqsepeare's question since November 2005, I remove the sentence too.--Garcilaso 18:16, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
