Reni Lane (born Reni Elaine Jablonsky on January 10, 1988) is a singer/songwriter currently residing in New York City, where she is student at Columbia University in the class of 2010. She is a vocalist and pianist whose music has been compared to Sarah McLachlan, Fiona Apple, and Snow Patrol.[1] Her debut album, American Baby was released February 15, 2007 but became available online a month earlier. She was discovered at the age of 16 by rock producer David Pattillo who mixed, produced, and recorded her album at his studio Flow NY. [2] She is also a member of the East Village band The Rabbit starring singer/songwriter David Poe.
