Renaissance is an album by the Village People. After the downfall of Disco, the group tried to transition into a New Wave group. The attempt failed commercially and critically as most were turned off by the harsh change in direction. The album peaked at #138 on The Billboard 200. However, the album did find a cult fanbase years later. Many fans thought of the album to be an abstract, intriguing work. The standout tracks are the two singles, "Do You Wanna Spend The Night" and "5 O'Clock In The Morning." This album was reissued to CD in 1999.
