[edit] Character Information

Mizunashi's real name is Hidemi Hondou (本堂 瑛海 Hondō Hidemi?) and is also known by the Black Organization as Kir. She is first properly introduced in episode 425 of the anime (manga volume 48-49) as a news reporter.[1] She is a friend of the singer Yoko Okino who gets Detective Kogoro to help her in a small problem. Rena hires him as a bodyguard to get to the bottom of what turns out to eventually be a child. Rena Mizunashi looks like the boys mother, so the child, noticing that she doesn't go to work (she left her company, unknowingly to the child), went to her house, and knocked on her door for a wakeup call. In the process, Conan's tracker accidentally gets stuck on her, eventually revealing her to be a black organization member after recording a conversation with Gin. She is planning an assassination; however, her plans are eventually foiled by Conan and the FBI agents. While trying to escape, she crashes and is the only member to be detained by the FBI agents.

Mizanushi awakens from her coma in chapter 596.[2] In Chapter 601, Black Organization sends a lot of bombs (near 60) to Haido Central Hospital and their plan from the beginning was to kill Kir and seal her mouth forever.[3] As of the end of Chapter 601, Kir has finally recovered completely and she appears in the TV, however we found out that this was a trick just to lure the FBI agents to her room so that the organization will know where she is.[4] As the chapter 603, Kir was saved by the BO and the FBI lost her.[5] In chapter 604 it is revealed that she is actually a CIA agent named Hidemi Hondou, trying to destroy the organization from the inside. She and Eisuke Hondou are the children of deceased CIA agent Ethan Hondou, who injured her and killed himself just to keep his daughter's cover secure when she made a mistake that would have exposed her.[6] In Chapter 606, Rena was asked to kill Shuichi Akai to gain the organization's trust. As of Chapter 609, Kir has killed Akai in order to keep her cover safe.[7]

[edit] Name, Age and Family Members

She is 27 years old, making her the youngest member of the Black Organization to be alive so far (Shiho and Akemi were younger, but both are no longer part of the organization). Actual name pronunciation of Kir is Keel. It has been revealed that the name of Eisuke's sister is Hidemi Hondou.[8] Her father is Ethan Hondou , and her brother is Eisuke Hondou

[edit] Previous Residence

In the manga, it is revealed that she used to live in Osaka.[9]
