[edit] Honduras and Blackness
While I don't dispute what you've written in the Afro-LatinAmerican page about Honduras (or anywhere else for that matter), you do need to cite the sources you used. There's no doubt that the Honduran census systematically set criteria to reduce the "blackness" of the Honduran population so that fewer and fewer people were counted as "black". You should look at the work of Dario Euraque, for example. This section of the article is quite muddled and tends to focus on the most recent afro-caribbean migrations to Honduras, ignoring the earlier ones. Honduras had a substantial mulato and pardo population in the 17th and 18th centuries (the time period I work on in Honduras) which didn't go away, it just stopped being identified as such in more recent censuses. [edit] Honduran72
Leaving notes for Honduran72 won't do much good. He's indefinitely blocked, because he was a sockpuppet for Editor652 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log), along with MTA25 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) and MTA254 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log). Any edits he makes from any account get immediately reversed. I understand your frustration with unsourced material getting reverted, but that's just the way it is. Certainly, Editor652's earlier claims of 800,000 aren't supported by anyone, and "350,476" is an incredibly precise number when estimates range as low as 100,000.Kww (talk) 19:01, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Afro-Hondurans website
Hey Remo, I took a look at the Afro-Hondurans website you quoted in the Honduras section of Afro-LatinAmericans. Please see my comment on its Talk page. Rsheptak (talk) 03:17, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
