Why did you move the Roman Polanski article without any discussion? There's an existing discussion on the article talk page. Unilateral moves without any discussion are not appropriate. -Will Beback · † · 03:59, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

I concur with Will Beback. You should not move pages without first discussing it on the Talk page of the article. Also note that Wikipedia:Naming conventions is official policy, and it provides that article names should be "what the majority of English speakers would most easily recognize". --Mathew5000 05:22, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Not to pile on, but I have to agree: this move was not warranted. In your defense, you probably didn't realize you were wandering into a hornets nest, but this has been a very contentious issue at Talk:Roman Polanski that now seems to have reached consensus for the existing version.
