"Remedy" is a song by post grunge/metal band Seether. It is the second track on their album Karma and Effect. The lyrics are supposed to be about rehabilitation after drug abuse and the struggle that was suffered by every member of the band .[citation needed]. The music video, directed by Dean Karr, has the band playing with Shaun Morgan dressed up in carnival clothes. There are also scenes of a group of people experiencing "the world's most terrifying ride". Amy Lee, Shaun's girlfriend in this era, appears in the video.
Along with "Fake It," "Truth," "Fine Again," and "Broken," it is one of their most recognizable songs.
On the single for "Remedy", it includes this song as well as the live acoustic and video versions. It also includes a bonus song not on their other CDs known as "Let Me Go."
It also served as the theme song for WWE's pay-per-view Summerslam 2005.
An unplugged version of "Remedy" was released on the bands live acoustic album, One Cold Night.
