[edit] Ep. Numbers

Are these neccessary? Does anyone ever use the episode numbers in real life? -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 03:33, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

  • That was so that the episodes could be ordered in chronological order. Would you rather use alphabetical order? Curt Wilhelm VonSavage (talk) 03:35, 22 November 2007 (UTC).
    • Well, it does show how far apart the episodes are. -- Scorpion0422 03:35, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
It's just that there are no other uses of this system (that I know of) under the Simpsons area of Wikipedia. I believe them to be unneccessary, as no one refers to the episodes by number ("Oh, did you catch the four hundred and second episode of the Simpsons last week...") -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 03:41, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
So, you'd rather it be alphabetical order? Curt Wilhelm VonSavage (talk) 03:43, 22 November 2007 (UTC).
Well, all of the episode pages list their episode number, as do the lists. -- Scorpion0422 03:44, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Chronological order is fine, I just don't think the numbers need to be there. -- THE DARK LORD TROMBONATOR 03:48, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I have no qualms with that, either way. Whatever everyone else is comfortable with. Curt Wilhelm VonSavage (talk) 03:49, 22 November 2007 (UTC).
