Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC) was founded in 1967 as the Clergy Consultation Service on Abortion and then later as the Religious Coalition for Abortion Rights (RCAR). The current name was chosen in 1993.
RCRC is the primary national vehicle for U.S. mainline clergy who advocate for preserving the legal access to abortion. In addition, their members often actively work on collateral issues such as sexual equality, sexual education, and access to contraception. RCRC often works in close cooperation with groups like Planned Parenthood and Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS).
